I've been looking for a pair of shoes to replace my Adidas Pure Boost, which were the lightest, most comfortable pair of runners I've ever had. The downside to those is the upper is basically lycra with next to no support and the boost soles can cause some rolling so they are somewhat unstable. Even though I've only had these for about a week, I feel like they will be a great alternative. Not quite as comfortable (the pure boost are like marshmallow slippers) but seemingly more supportive and stable. The Free soles seem to move as advertised, and the knit uppers are very light, very comfy and fit like a sock. The color way is a bit bright and uh, vibrant, and while it's fairly evident in the pictures, I'm surprised how much brighter and vivacious they seem in real life. Certainly a statement shoe, but so far, I love the way they feel, even if they aren't quite as soft and responsively 'bouncy' as the sole on the pure boosts are.
